Hi, I'm Alex Valentine!

I'm a New York based comic artist working as a comic editor at Level Ground Comics! Currently, I am studying Sequential Arts at SCAD as a Masters of Arts student.

   While I love to explore all types of comic art, I feel most at home whenever I am making

colorful YA comics about music and life!

 

   Inclusivity through queerness is most important to me in my work, however you'll often find a healthy dose of fantasy, drama, and romance as well.

​

   I am confident in all aspects of the comic making process, but COLORS are my absolute favorite. From bright and friendly palettes to easy, earthy naturals, I always love to color! (though you'll see neons are my all-time favorite...)

 

   So whenever I'm not drawing, you can find me still keeping music in my life by playing either cello in a local orchestra, or by playing my classical ukulele on my own. And now, I am trying to learn guitar! (Keyword "trying")​
